Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer who is passionate about web technologies and has experience in designing and implementing websites and web applications. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including customizing themes, plugins, and maintaining website functionality. You should be able to develop responsive, user-friendly, and SEO-optimized websites that align with the company’s vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SparshBio’s website using WordPress
• Customize themes and plugins as per company requirements
• Ensure website performance, availability, and security
• Optimize website for speed, performance, and SEO
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and content teams for seamless integration
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues as they arise
• Implement e-commerce solutions (WooCommerce) for online product sales
• Integrate third-party tools and APIs (e.g., CRMs, marketing tools)
• Maintain best practices in web development including version control and code documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (3+ years preferred)
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Strong understanding of PHP and MySQL for back-end development
• Experience with theme customization, child themes, and custom post types
• Knowledge of popular plugins like WooCommerce, Elementor, and Advanced Custom Fields
• Familiarity with website performance optimization and SEO best practices
• Strong understanding of security principles and website maintenance
• Experience with website hosting environments (e.g., cPanel, FTP, SSL setup)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with page builders like Elementor or Divi
• Familiarity with Git for version control
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party service integration
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and responsive design
